My name is Ms. Chaela Gray and I am the founder and choreographer of Royal Allusion Dance Academy. I am from Atlanta, Ga and I have been dancing for over 20 years. I have performed in four Halftime Football Bowl Games, Carnival Cruise Ship, Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship, The Bahamas, Spain, Italy, Disney World, and much more! About Royal Allusion Dance Academy
It is our passion to motivate, encourage, up lift, critique and educated our students. Each student will be taught based on their individual skill level. We encourage our students to express and perfect their creativeness through the art of dance.
Here at Royal Allusion Dance Academy we are dedicated by offering fun and exciting classes for your child to enjoy. Students will have the opportunity to participate in our phenomenal Competition Team which will expose them to more performance opportunities, exposure, improve experience, and become comfortable when preforming in public.
Placement of Students
At Royal Allusion Dance Academy, we offer a variety of dance classes, such as, Ballet, Tap, Clogging, Jazz and Hip Hop. Based on technical abilities, each student will be evaluated and placed in a class suitable for their age and skill level. We will do our best to keep students in the same age group when possible. Our focus is to place the students in the appropriate strength level to encourage growth in the art of dance.
Injury Agreement
Parents must sign an injury agreement for each child. This agreement simply states that if you child where to become injured in the care of Royal Allusion, the dance School will have the right to take your child to the hospital so better care.
.Health and Nutrients
Dance is a sport. Eating the rights types of foods and drinking plenty of water is necessary to prevent injuries to the dancer’s body.
Proper Exercise is essential for dancers to build and strengthen their muscles. Students must bring water in a plastic bottle for class to prevent dehydration. Safety is our number one concern.
Communication
Communication is important at Royal Allusion Dance Academy. For our parent and students communicating through mass text messages and Emails is a more effective way of keeping everyone informed. These messages will remind everyone about new and up-coming events such as, community events, photograph time, rehearsals, meetings and recitals. Constructive feedback/suggestions for the good of Royal Allusion Dance Academy students are always welcome. If there are any questions or concerns that requires immediate attention involving a students or a parent, Please contact the director for a one on one.
Observation of class
In order keep the students focused and avoid accidents, family and friends are not allowed to observe or enter into the class room while students are practicing. Only under certain circumstances will it be suitable for parents to observe the class. The dance Director will announce a time and date were the students will be able to perform and show-case their dance techniques for family and friends.
Performance
There will be one main recital at the beginning of Summer. The location of the recital will be announced. Throughout each term there will be small local performance to show off the student’s talent and hard work. Participation is highly encouraging. There will be additional fees for costumes and recital.
Dress Code
-During performance students are only allowed to wear their designated costumers for that particular dance along with the appropriate dance shoes.
-For practice students are to wear skin tone tights with black leotards, dance skirts(Ballet) and Jazz pants.
-Jewelry is not to be worn anytime during practice and /or performances.
-Stud diamond earrings and pearl earrings are acceptable. No hoop Earrings.
-When entering the classroom hair should be put up out of face into a bun or ponytail.
-During performances hair should be in a bun. Hairstyle is subject to change based the type of dance.
-The appropriate dance shoes must be worn during practice and performances

Arrivals and Departures
Students are to be on time to classes, shows, or any other activities. In the transitioning of each class there will be a waiting room for students to sit before their classes start. When leaving, students are only allowed to leave with the designated parent or guardian. Students will be picked up inside the building or escorted out to the car. When class is over no students should be outside waiting on their ride.
Lateness
It is important for students to be on time for class. We recommend the student arrive 5 to 10 minutes before each class to allow for stretching and warming up. However we understand the unforeseen events, there is a 30 minute grace period for each student. Please call the main office number or text the studio Director to inform us that you will be arriving late.
Make up
During each performance, all students are required to wear make up to enhance the performances during filming and videos. Only under Medical and Religion circumstances, that a student may not be required to wearing makeup

Photo Release
Royal Allusion reserves the right to use photographs and videos obtained during classes, performances and other associated events student participate in for the sole purpose of adverting, promoting the dance academy via internet and any social network.

Summer programs are to be announced.

Food and Beverages
Food will be allowed only in the designated waiting area. There will be trash cans available in the room for correct disposal trash. If a student were to make a mess, they should let an adult know so that the area can be kept clean. The only beverage allowed in the dance room will be water.

Dancer Responsibility
*It is the dancer’s responsibility to practice. Practice makes perfect.
*No candy or gum is allowed into the dance studio
*No running is allowed anywhere in the building, unless directed otherwise
*No horse playing
*Students and faculty should treat each other with respect
*No jewelry, hoop earrings, watches, etc. is allowed in the dance studio

Tuition and payment Policies
Payments are due at the beginning of every month. 101 classes are due at the beginning of class. Only the 101 classes are allowed to pay per class section. Late payments or return payment will be charged a fee. Royal Allusion Dance Academy offers discount to parent who wish to pay their tuition in full.
Payments should be made on the dates listed below for each month. There are also payment options to pay every 4 months
There will be a registration fee of
- $50 (New Students)
- $20 (Returning Students)
Refund policies
Under no circumstances will payments for recital or costumes fee are refundable. There will be no refunds or deductions for missed classes or cancellation due to inclement weather. Tuitions are non-refundable nor transferable unless a valid medical document is produced

Withdrawal
In order to withdraw your child from their class, a withdrawal form will have to be filed out. If the form has not been filled, then you must continue to pay the full tuition until the form has been cleared. The failure to attend classes will not waive the provisions of this agreement or contract between Royal Allusion Dance Academy, Kidz Kingdom, and it succors or affiliates.

Lost and Found
Royal Allusion Dance Academy will not be held responsible for any valuable items left on our premises. We recommend that students leave all valuables at home or with their parent. If a student were to leave any valuable behind after class, there is a lost and found locked in the office. Students are welcomed to retrieve their items at a reasonable time

Parents Allusion
The Royal Allusion Dance Academy is not just a place for kids. We invite parents to get involved as well. There will be activities for the parents such as Workout Classes, Mommy/Daddy and Me classes, Parents Night Out, and many more. Parents are welcome to come up with fun ideas so that everyone can be a part of our dance family.
